I think that overall, US and EU are much alike. Neither are perfect. The differences are bigger in the narratives of those that seek to divide, than those that actually lived on both sides of the Atlantic.
You can find what you seek on either side, I think, and you can live a good life. In the end it's all about what you do with it.
