What actually happens when someone zaps
They click the lightning bolt on SN
SN deducts sats from their SN balance
SN pays a Lightning invoice to your connected wallet
Your wallet receives it instantly — usually under 1 second
To get your first sats without waiting for zaps
You can also earn by posting good content here. SN distributes daily rewards to posts/comments that get upvotes. The 1 sat you earn from an upvote is real Lightning money.
