Agree.
China primarily wants to trade and do business, as that is where they have advantage.
But USA is cutting off their oil supplies and China may be left with no choice but to defend their supply lines and trading partners.
The huge Chinese military build up recognises that they know USA will seek to use force to retain hegemony.
