Thanks! I'm optimistic that this paper can get some interest in other conferences. But something working against me is that the prestige level of my university is weak. A lot of people will see my affiliation and write it off without reading carefully. I'm cool with where I'm at (wrote about it here), but sometimes you get reminded why clout really matters.
Clout is attainable through networking
Boy don't I know it. Unfortunately (for me) it's the least enjoyable part of my job, and I don't do it nearly enough.

I'm not big on networking events. When it's for-purpose I feel it's bs. But nearly every conference I go to is mostly boring and then I just run into people that feel the same and we hang. This is awesome networking and I know tons of people that way that I talk to often.
