My sushi rice experiments went a little too well last night and I ate so much rice that I feel like a different person today.

I've come to think of rice as a substrate for flavorful liquids. It serves that purpose better than just about anything.

Are you talking about gohan? I love it in Japanese foods, not too much to give space for the salmon.

That translates to 'cooked rice' afaict so yes. I found it too easy to eat on its own - kind of like bread.
