abs continues to maintain its dominant position. If this goes on, should I retire the word abs from the rankings, making it SN's first word emeritus? @realBitcoinDog

TBH, I have no idea why caught was the highest earning word this month. Does anyone have a clue?

Best time to post on Stacker NewsBest time to post on Stacker News

Ever thought about timing your posts for engagement? C'mon, I know you have. Well, wonder no more because I've done an analysis of zap amounts and item counts by time-of-week.

Based on this analysis, it seems like 8AM - 9AM CST M-Th may be the best time to post. That's a bit too early for me, who lives on the West Coast. When are we getting scheduled posts again? Also, remember: once a strategy becomes widely known, its effectiveness may diminish. So consider experimenting with different posting times to find what works best for you!

Anyway, hope you enjoyed this edition of Stacker News Monthly! Remember, stay humble and stack sats.

Dang, ~Stacker_Sports almost caught ~bitcoin last month

reply

I predict ~Stacker_Sports will catch ~bitcoin eventually.

reply

At least every once in a while

reply

Oh, I mean it will catch for forever - mark my word on it.

reply

My favorite word is still ‘AI’? The quoted text isn’t mine! Ahahah

reply

To be fair, it does mean you're posting a lot about AI, ~lol

reply

Another solid month stackers!

reply

Comment/post on ~Stacker_Stocks is amazing. It shows SN is not niche to Bitcoin only.

reply

@k00b I thought that these SN account settings mean something

I really do not want to be mentioned in ANY stats.

reply

I'm sure SimpleStacker would honor a request to not be included in his research

reply

Did you provide the SN database to be researched for these stats?

reply

No, Stacker News Monthly is produced using publicly available information on posts and comments, which includes the poster and the zap amount. "Hide me from top stackers" only controls what SN chooses to display, but it can't prevent other users from collecting public-facing information from the site and presenting it.

reply

ok. please do not mention me anymore in your stats.

reply

Ok, I won't include you in future editions

reply

Your posts and comments are still visible, as are the zaps on them. That's not the same thing as where you'd rank on top stackers.

reply

I don't care. I do not want to be mentioned in ANY stats. And I think I read in SN T&C that is necessary my consent to be published.

reply

You have to ask nicely then or stop posting under your nym.

reply
stop posting under your nym.

I'd rather not posting at all than using an alt.
