Interesting MSTY has gone to Weekly. I think I remember Saylor answering a question on a podcast about if Strategy would do a daily/weekly preferred stock and he said that he was not sure the mechanics of the stock market could do it.
That calculating the Record Date and Pay Date may not work with all the different brokerage companies.
