I really do not understand why people hate so much CCs. Are just fine! You could even consider them as cashu tokens. Same logic.
if SN really want to be "self-custodial" should remove any other way to connect any custodial wallet. Force users to use their own nodes. Otherwise just stick with CC and is just fine.
It would at least be nice to help new users make good wallet choices. This is the second post since yesterday where the person had no lightning wallet yet.
They could suggest better wallets for new users and still allow other wallets to connect.

If you ask me, I think Wallet of Satoshi is the best for new users. I tell you it didn't take me upto 15 minutes to set things up.

Coinos may be the easiest wallet to use. Its fees are certainly the lowest.

And this is how SN solved the "custodial" issue, by pushing noobs into other custodial issues (aka throwing the dead cat into others garden).
Better just use CCs
