I always thought it was vegetable oil based.
Yeah the modern margarine is. According to the pod around the time crisco came out they started to sub out the beef tallow
According to the "legend", the first margarine was made by A.H. in Germany (you know what it's made of...) Yes, I know...not a good joke, even disgusting... The other...according to (I've never looked it up) margarine only differs from diesel by 2-3 molecules :)
