I saw a similar headline for the World Cup next year: most loyal fans will be priced out.
I don’t agree but let’s pretend this is true. What is a more fair alternative besides price controls? A stadium has 66000 seats. How many fans does a team have? 1 million?
I am a season ticket holder in Los Angeles. I went to one game last year. Sold all the other seats on seat geek or Ticketmaster. Only reason I went to Packers at Rams last year is that my friend had field level seats and complimentary.
I forgot to mention I am a chargers season ticket holder and the only home game I attended was the Rams.
Btw the best stadium experience is the soccer stadium in Carson formerly known as stub hub stadium. No bad seat and the best stadium food: artisanal and independent vendors including funnel cake
