They should just replace ties with losses. If you can't win, you lose and sometimes everyone loses.

Yeah... if you want to share, you get to share silver, not gold. I think that makes sense.

Ties are dumb in general. Each team should posses the ball once in OT and then go to college rules. In the playoffs they should just play a full quarter and whoever is ahead at the end wins. If still tied, play another.
