The government shutdown seems like a sure thing, but no one knows how long it might last. Let's see if we can use lightning powered prediction markets to get the right answer.
Personally, I think it's likely to go longer than 30 days if it isn't resolved in a few days.

There have been several close calls that were averted at the last minute, so you probably have seen lots of shutdown news this year.

Oh, I think @Cje95 was writing about a shutdown during the winter. It didn't happen, but everyone was pretty sure it was going to.
