Two of my favorites:
"Having a bunch of cats around is good. If you're feeling bad, just look at the cats, you'll feel better, because they know that everything is, just as it is."
"Animals are inspirational. They don’t know how to lie. They are natural forces."

My favourite.."Cat doesn’t walk through life, it glides through moments, reminding us that grace isn’t something you learn it’s something you live."

That is good. I should have highlighted that one at the top.

No idea who said that, but it's the truth.
"Dogs believe they are human. Cats believe they are God"

I've actually been told a slightly different generalization:
Dogs understand that we are humans and they are dogs, while cats don't understand that they're just cats.
It's less funny, although I think it might be closer to the origin of the difference, which is probably due to cats being solitary predators while dogs and wolves are pack animals. Obviously these are only generalisations, and the behaviors of individuals are much more diverse.

Love that arguably the two most "manly" authors of the 20th century (Bukowski and Hemingway) were also cat people.

Good observation.

I like that too. I will add my quote/observation: cats come to you when they feel the need to share their love with you. Losing a cat, is like losing 10 years from your life.

My cat just climbed on my head when I read this 😀

They don’t know how to lie.
This I think is wrong. Strictly speaking, animals don't lie because they're not producing false speech... however they definitely try to deceive. Dogs that have misbehaved will sometimes try to ignore the evidence of their transgressions, and cats will try to conceal their attention while stalking.

"A cat is only itself."
This pretty much sums up how I feel about cats. A cat ain't a dog. Haha.
