As the sole superpower the US has enabled Israels genocide in Gaza, its murder of Iranian government employees and not prevented the recent attack on Gaza leadership who were in US ally Qatar for peace talks.

The global superpower has supported, enabled and perpetrated murder and terrorism with impunity.

In this global environment of US led disrespect for international law others are following that lead. China is building its regional hegemony over Myanmar by removing democracy and building road and rail routes to sea ports in the south- in Cambodia building a canal to bypass Vietnams control of the Mekong Delta. The burden of empire is weighing heavy upon the US as its domination of global institutions, protocols, financial markets, wealth generation and trade declines. Deeply in debt, close to insolvency, and in this context is pulling on all the available levers to fend off collapse.
