First showing up and and being consistent everyday is the bare minimum for Luck.

Now to increase that you need to work hard. To increase it even further it helps to be talented or have vision/a sense of direction. Having both is preferable. To increase it even further it helps be well networked. To increase it even further it helps to be well liked. To increase it even further it helps to have money. To increase it even further it helps finally to be patient and wait your turn.
