That's a lot of money for a guys that isn't elite in all facets of the game. He is a hell of a pass rusher and is versatile, can even drop him back in coverage but any time the 49ers play the Cowboys they run straight at Parsons.
1000 plays over 4 years is a decent sample size. Also they were 22nd the year before they drafted him and 1st the year after. Objectively he’s an impact player that changes how they scheme and how Offences scheme can Dallas
1000 plays is a decent sample but not if 900 of them came last year when half the Cowboys starting defense was hurt most of the year.
I am not saying he isn't a great player, he is. I agree he is an impact player. I don't think he is a top 3 DE but probably top 5.
All I know is 49ers are 4-0 against the Cowboys since 2021 and they run straight at Parsons every time. They are averaging 28.5 points in those games. Not bad against the "best" defense.
I may be chugging purple koolaid on the daily. But the Packers would have had to make a huge leap from last year and lions and vikes would need to fall off a cliff for the Packers to be favourites.
Upside sure, and I like golden, but people are saying the vikes are going to be worse with a rookie because we don't know what the rookie will be. But suddenly because the Packers have golden a rookie who we don't know what he'll actually be in the NFL... They're elite now?
I don't think they finish last but I think the NFC North isn't a gimme division.
Dallas dodged a bullet

Parsons is like a steph curry for Dallas’s D
view on x.comMuch of this sample of "league's second worst defense" was from last year and they were missing a bunch of guys on D not just Parsons.

PFF has him #2
I could see arguments for him being out of top 3 considering all around game though. If you need a sack #2 feels right

I would have him 2 as well if you only account for pass rush.

First ability is availability
Last season is the only one he’s missed time.
Guy might not be the best run defender but he is one of the best players in the league and in his prime at 25 years old

Haha exactly and they don’t run at Myles Garrett
2 firsts and Kenny Clark.
Huge move. I personally think the Packers are more than one move away from competing in the division. But they seem to disagree.
I don't know, they've clearly gotten better while the Vikings and Lions probably got worse. I think it'll be really tight.
It would have to be such a massive leap from last year and a huge fall off for vikes and lions.
The NFC North is not a joke division, it'll be a hard fought division.
Are you sure the gap was that big? All three were quick playoff exits.
Valid point. Tough to call, I don't remember the playoffs that well anymore 🤣. But our loss to the Rams was silly.
You can get the Vikings at about 2% on Predyx
I mighta put a little something something down on skybet.
NFC North Champs. Superbowl Champs. JJ McCarthy Comeback player.
Got all 3 as singles and then doubled down on an acca. Don't remember the odds I got on them though, I put that bet in in like May 🤣
Chance to put some $ on it @Public_N_M_E

If Golden is good and Love stays healthy the Pack have a lot of upside

Wow big add for the Pack. I am not the biggest Parsons guy, he stinks against the run but he is definitely an elite pass rusher.
