I will say, I think most people aren't really in the partisan politics thing. Even people that vote. When I press people on their team most people seem to get that the system isn't right. They just don't know another way. This goes for many Trump voters to. They know he's a mixed bag but they tend to think he's better than the alternative.
What happens so often and I feel this as well is that partisan politics is so unfair and dishonest that it makes figures on each side sympathetic. Obviously there are tons of valid criticisms but both sides take it so over the top that it actually hardens each side's resolve to play the team sport game.
How different would it be if instead of this nonsense we focused on solving the problems in our local communities by joining organizations that do things. A boy can dream.
