Slowly trying to de-google myself, having successfully:
- self-hosted email
- moved docs onto nextcloud
- registered alternative domain provider
- set alternative search engine as default
- using Brave / Chromium, not Chrome
- Avoiding "sign in with google" option
- Using Authy, not google authenticator
- Installed alternative maps provider (works offline)
One google service I still use a lot is google translate.
Can anyone recommend any alternatives? self-hosted would be awesome, but even if it's just another (good) provider would be great.
