I was very active today with miscellaneous chores and errands but I got woken up early and snacked too much.

19km run in the morning. 2km walk in the afternoon with my little one to Tim Hortons for Iced Capp and cookie. Another 2km walk at night with wife after dinner. Lots of steps, 30007 according to my watch.
That is a ton of steps
The long run contributed a lot.
I love to walk barefoot on the cold (often wet) grass in the morning. That's been my motivation for rising early as a child. Still do but not as often.
For me it's walking on stone or pavement. I worry about what I might be stepping in in grass.
