Wish I had more hours in the day! And Whole Foods online shopping sucks. Avoid or be prepared to have substituted items! You’ve been warned!

FWIW I'm not a big fan of the comments below posts just linking all other context. Somehow those just feel like clutter and I wish there would be a way for me to only see those on demand.
reply
Definitely agree with this. You get excited about there being actual discussion going on... and it ends up just being a link to some other thread :/
reply
Yeah, the way how I used to scan through the list of posts was also based on the number of comments, because we have a lot of smart folks here and so there's often a lot of signal in the comments.
reply
I guess we can rate limit commenting by making it more expensive to comment in quick succession at the same depth?
A lot of the ones I'm seeing are like 5 comments from the same user(s). I personally wouldn't mind one comment with context but 5-10 without competing comments feels really noisy.
reply
Yeah, just brainstorming, but maybe limit to one comment per person on top level (and way more expensive to add another...).
Also this may be "me" problem, so I wonder how does the wider community feel about it.
reply
Yeah this could work.
I mean we're at minimum of N=2 so I'm just going to assume it's a bigger problem 😅

This thread is a good example of one with a lot of noise: #10908

Can you point to an example of this?
I think I know what you mean, and I suspect the solution is a "related"/"more like this" accordion below each post.

I just got off a pod with @JV for the SeeTee pod. Podcasts are kind of weird but it's a fun kind of weird.

I'm predicting an appearance on Pomp or McCormack's podcast before 2023
reply
Sweet! I'm subscribed to @JV on Breez, so I'm listening the minute it drops :) Good job man.

Been wondering how can I make some kyc-ed bitcoin less of a track. I am wondering if fixed swap and monero can help? (I still want to keep them as bitcoin at my final holding)
