Tale of the tape:
When I was thinking about this I thought Pedro would crush him but looking at the career stats it’s a lot closer than I could have imagined.
Wells got two rings less walks and a better post season record meanwhile Pedro dominates in strikeouts and overall pitching hardware.
What do you think stackers? Who is the better pitcher?

I like Boomer but this is not close. Pedro is much better. Boomer had the longevity but was never an elite pitcher. Pedro is one of the best of all time.

I agree that Pedro is better but I was shocked that Wells had some stats that were better than Pedro’s

That’s not a huge difference in ERA in a relatively small sample and he had more opportunities.
Boomer was great. Awesome, quality pitcher who never seemed to get hurt. But he isn’t in Pedro’s league.

That bWAR difference is pretty huge, though. As is the home runs allowed (Wells's innings don't account for the difference).
