There have been rumours that the Padres, who currently hold the final wildcard spot in the NL, are willing to move on from former Cy Young award winner and pending free agent Starting Pitcher, Dylan Cease.
It seems unlikely unless that get the perfect package of future talent plus a quality arm that can slot into the rotation right away, but supposedly they have had talks with a number of teams including all the contending teams in the AL East.
