I haven’t used it since the move to cowboy credits and was wondering if it’s still supported?

I tried sending sats to thebullishbitcoiner@stacker.news to test (and to also check LNURL-verify support) but got the following error.

84 sats \ 24 replies \ @ek 23 Jul

If you attached a wallet, yes. Just zapped you 100 sats via the address:

reply

Ok I think I just got your test payment. Guess I should try a different wallet, that failure was from Primal.

reply

Coinos also fell through (21 sats).

edit: @ek

I hopped on his profile to check the address, and he's also got that 'longest cowboy streak 100.' @Car too. Sounds like anyone under X is showing 100.

Sorry again for not taking you serious initially—even though I did think my response was quite funny haha—, we did find a bug. We weren't checking if the streak type is for the hat. The longest "cowboy streak" currently shows the longest streak of any kind (hat, gun or horse).

reply

No prob. Just curious, if that was it, why 100 in various stackers?

I asked this myself but it must have been a coincidence that the ones you clicked on had their (horse) streak at 100.

I found stackers with streaks lower than 100.

We might not be able to forward low amounts to your node. I assume you have ‘enhance privacy of my lightning address’ enabled? Try disabling it in /wallets/settings or higher amounts.

reply

Ah I see. This is probably the same reason smaller zaps are cowboy credits while larger ones are p2p?

reply

Yes

But if you run your own node you could open a channel for zero forwarding fees so you will receive every zap

You Europeans and your commas for decimals!

Americans and their extrawürste

extrawürste

I assume you mean the latter lol

Btw, not sure if the plural is appropriate. I am only aware of the Fahrenheit extrawurst.

reply

yes :)

reply

not extrawurst enough

USA hasn't left NATO yet

Sorry if I offended you. It’s just not what I’m used to, and I know ek’s European

reply

Nah, I wasn't offended, lol. I'm cool with people being different. Just hopped on the chance to drop another map.

We Europeans aren't so easily offended haha

reply

At least I’m not proclaiming the imperial measurement system is any good.

It’s not. It sucks

reply

not you though, you have thin skin probably because you are not ethnically European

reply

It still works seamlessly. The only thing is, you receive less sats. Here's a test payment. From Minibits to my SN attached wallet. Received without internet

You can disable the privacy setting to remove the fee, but then everybody will see your node pubkey.

reply

What are the ramifications of my node pubkey being public?

reply

Seems like things changed after the switch to cowboy credits. Im also curious if that feature is still fully supported. Hopefully we get an update or a fix for this soon.
