Exactly. It’s amazing how much joy and meaning can come from simple celebrations .. when they come from a place of love. But when those moments get overshadowed by disappointment or unmet expectations, it reveals something deeper and more painful.

Welcoming a child should be about embracing whoever they are, not projecting who we want them to be. Unconditional love means celebrating life itself, not just the version we imagined.
