This looks a lot like yesterday’s breed

They are pretty close genetically.

This photo is from the link, is it the same breed?

reply

Yes. Bandogges have a lot of variety, but they are all thick boned, mastiff looking dogs. The one I posted in the photo has cropped ears.

The American Bandogge Mastiff is a powerful, mastiff mix created by crossing the American Pit Bull Terrier with the Neapolitan Mastiff. Their keeping can be strictly regulated and even banned in some countries.

They are very smart and kind. A friend of mine has one. Lovely and lovable dog.

Mastiffs scare me

Wow! Looks handsome. Annd

Despite their often intimidating appearance, they’re excellent with children and get along with other household pets, as long as they’re raised with them.

This is what most of us want.

The American Bandogge Mastiff is truly an impressive breed powerful, massive, and heroic in appearance. Despite their intimidating strength, they carry a heart full of loyalty, calm confidence, and surprising gentleness toward their family, especially kids. Their deep intelligence and noble temperament make them a unique combination of protector and companion. This breed isn’t for everyone, but in the hands of a responsible and experienced owner, the Bandogge becomes a loyal guardian, a dependable best friend, and a gentle giant who commands respect and gives unconditional love.
