Edit to original post: After coming at them on twitter for the BS customer support response that I was given. I was able to get them to send me a new device.

I am happy they are making it right, as I have high hopes for the product. However I was not happy with how it seemed like I had to open up a can on twitter to get them to respond to my request for a new device.

But I wish no I'll will on Coinkite since they are honoring their word.

Especially since they provided the same thing to other reddit users
