These binary buttons are notoriously confusing. They can represent:
- current state
- the desired state (what happens when pressed)
All of our binary buttons are (2). Most websites do (1).

Add to the confusion that sometimes neither works because of a problem with the browser.

Which don't work for you? Or are you talking about the fireworks fiasco?

In the past, I've had trouble with the animations, but they're working fine now.
It makes it hard to figure out the on/off scheme of the buttons, though, when it doesn't work either way.
