pull down to refresh

The other day, something curious happened in the condominium's WhatsApp group.
Someone was looking for a garage space to store their car, and I, who don't have a car, jumped right in: I sometimes rent out my space, so I offered without much thought.
So far, so normal. But it turns out the car they're currently storing in my space... is a Kombi!
A pickup, yes, but it's still a Kombi.
And I couldn't help but think: I recently wrote an article reflecting on the Kombi, its symbolism, its history, its free and wanderlust spirit... And now, out of nowhere, one appears in my garage.
Could it be God sending me a sign? A cosmic nudge to stop thinking so much and hit the road? I don't know. But every time I go out and see it parked there, so peaceful, so classic... I start dreaming a little harder.
And if it were a sign, what would you do? ๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿš๐Ÿ’ญ

It looks like itโ€™s in great condition.
I had an old Type 2 like this with a buddy of mine. Ours wasnโ€™t a Kombi like this but it was still a T2.
We never got it to run correctly so we had to sell it but we did a lot to fix up the paint and body. It looked like a whole new bus when we sold it.
I hope the new owner was able to get it to run well. Theyโ€™re a cool piece of history.

Great, I really want to have one. Little by little, we're creating and making our dreams come true...!!!
I love old cars
