Material delivery for the next job got delayed, which means I got an unwanted day off from work. Slept in late, woke up to do some chores, then went to have lunch with my friend. I watched the Ballerina today and also played some Monster Hunter Wilds. There's suddenly so much spare time when you don't have to play chess / monopoly/ lego with or read to your kid. Already starting to feel bored at times. Finally felt bad for sitting on my ass all day and went for a short run at night. I did push the pace a bit, made me pant, but felt great after the run. Feeling alive.
Today's stats:
  • 100 push ups (2 sets of 50)
  • 5km run at average pace of 4:52/km
  • cold shower
  • 8032 steps
Pretty good when you could have just gone full lazybones for the whole day.

I only had about 6.5k steps total for the day after the 5km run. That's how little I moved yesterday. Ended up walking around in the house while listening to BTC Sessions' Weekly Session to no lose my 33 days streak of 8k steps a day.

Not sure if there's real value or just another pointless number we humans chase. I guess at least it got me to get off my ass. That seems valuable.
