Went swimming with the family today. As @Aardvark will confirm, it's the best caloric burn there is.
Fasting is going well. I definitely recommend trying out one meal a day.
Another cold shower, too.
How are you doing on your ~HealthAndFitness practices?

I'm going to be without my wife and kids for almost a month, as they went to visit my in-laws on the other side of the Pacific. I went for a 12km run yesterday morning because it was Canada day and I had a day off. Went for another run today just now, because I didn't have many steps today but wanted to maintain the 8k+ steps per day streak (at 31 days now). July off to a good start, already ran 20km.
Today's stats:
  • 100 push ups (2 sets of 50)
  • 8km run at average pace of 5:18/km
  • cold shower
  • 13301 steps

How do you fare when left home alone?

I would say fare pretty well in terms of taking care of myself when left at home. I'm competent in cooking and doing chores (although my wife takes care of all of those when she's home), because my mom trained me well when I was little. If I feel lazy after work and don't want to cook, I just go to the nearby supermarket to buy their hot food cooked in house. Tradeoff is I probably eat a bunch of seed oils from the supermarket cooked food.
The house gets quiet though, because the boys are gone, and that I'm not very used to. But I'll be joining them near the end of the month, so it's just a few weeks of quiet and loneliness that I have to endure.

No breakfast burrito but no exercise today

Admirable restraint
Diet > exercise

I was told abs are 80% exercise and 20% cold showers. 100% sleep

Sleep > diet > cold showers > exercise

Feels like I'm overlooking my ~HealthAndFitness for long. Time to change! Slept 8 hours after a long long time. Back to walking and mild exercises from today onwards.

It’s always a good time to start tending to it. Sleep can definitely be scarce when you have a super young kiddo.

My daughter sleeps at nights and doesn't wake up or create some mess except for two or three times just wakes up and goes straight to her mommy. It's I who has been sleeping less or not ignoring work out ever since I became absolutely free from job and work. I think it"s enough rest of 1.5 Years and I should be back to walking, running, Yoga whatever I used to do as a fitness freak. I fear if I don't I'll get old sooner and I don't think that would be a good option when you have a 10 years younger partner. hahaha

Woke up 40 minutes ago, it was 5am. I am going through my morning routine, starting with measuring my BOLT score1: 47secs today, not bad. I'm still in bed, taking my time before carrying on with stretching, and going out for a quick short walk...
