10% is fair game for me to consider it a dip. I think anything less is a slight correction
I think AI is going to close the arbitrage in the future for sports betting. There are alot of people using it to bet in the bigger betting markets, and it generally has done many well.
Do any of the different products cannabilize each other, or are they each targeting completely seperate markets?
Yea, I would say I am trying to optimize my stack, but I genuinely like leaving the house and interacting with others. I don't see the point in continuing if I am just with in my place, by myself all day not interacting.
I genuinely like adding value to others, and the economy as well!
The money itself I am not much motivated by, I don't feel anything at all when I get paid now though
I'm not a big fan of sin taxes because sin can often be interpreted different in the eye of the beholder. With that, I think if the collective agrees that gambling is bad, maybe put a slightly higher tax on the winnings to deter the behavior.
Still not a fan, but the people of a society need to determine this in full.
Pretty interesting! I think open sourcing all AI's should be key. It is kind of scary what this closed source software companies could be doing with our information that we are feeding the AI.
Here is my view please don't hate lol. I look at the amount of money I can earn from zaps very trivial, and it is more about engaging with others cool bitcoiners in the community. I know some people seek to optimize zaps, optimizing rewards - but I could uber for 3 hours and earn a couple hundred thousand sats, or hustle on primal/SN/ or some other zap to earn service and maybe get like 20K zaps in that same time frame.
Great point, I think the world will converge on 10-15 fiat currencies, and the amount of countries will converge maybe to 20-30 countries.
Very interesting line of thought I think the major super powers will still be in place (i.e. USA, Russia, China), but I think we will see countries like around the world converge towards the super powers.
We are close to a future where these companies can start banning us for using hardware that belongs to us!
Very cool, cheers to showing your mom!
Yes in El Salvador I have paid with bitcoin, and many found it frictionless for the most part :)
Thanks for sharing, added it to my list! Definitely will check it out when my current bookshelf empties out
I heard a new one the other day. Someone I knows doesn't self custody, because they believe it will be a complicated tax situation if they take self-custody. I think there needs to be more education on the tax side with bitcoin, many think sending bitcoin causes a taxable event (even if to cold storage).
