What you lose with scaling with more chains is that the smaller chains will have weaker security due to a lower hashrate, but in turn they will have cheaper transaction fees.
This is kinda already happening but the other chains also have differing consensus rules, outside of the mars situation I don't know how a smaller copy of bitcoin would get off the ground while we have L2 solutions for the main chain.

I think the premise here is that the Mars chain does have the same properties as the original Earth chain.
Does anyone know of a site that displays Bitcoin price movements along with a timeline of major news events? I think it would be pretty cool to look at.
ChatGPT has a whole network of associations around "Are you conscious?" without having any "use" for being conscious. It's kinda like a static simulation of a billion humans without being any one of them.
"better bots" can also mean better at faking being human, and better at farming engagement though.
The cost to post is effectively an evolutionary pressure.
What is your opinion on black & white vs color photos?
These look good but I can't help but wonder what the real-life colors are...
I have a write up I'm planning to do about a Bitcoin community I visited!
On the topic of the diet, meat prices here are pretty reasonable so I should be alright cost wise.
What do you think people ate predominantly before we started farming grains? Certainly there were fruits, roots, etc. but the only sustainable food source were animals for a very long time.
I agree that the world can't go on a carnivore diet, but I'm just one person and if I can reap the benefits then I will.
Carbs make my blood sugar spike a lot and then crash, so about an hour after having a decent amount, say two sandwiches, I can really feel the brain fog.
I also eat it on occasion but the negative effects are quickly apparent and eating like that for a few days like over the holidays I can feel the effect.
Pretty sure if you eat fat with meat you shouldn't have energy issues, domestication of grains is a very recent event in our history, or rather we were domesticated by wheat very recently...
