US young people don't like the US government wants to stop them getting spied on by China. So as a revenge US young people refuse getting spied on by US companies instead and choose to get spied on by China even harder?

The photography world has 1 wide angle + 1 kit + 1 tele lens as their holy trinity. It's not just this youtube video, tons of people use this paradigm as their buyers guide.
I personally never vibed with that. For one I like a fixed focal length for the middle one. I don't buy wide angles anymore, the panorama mode from phones are 60MP now. And I like gimmick lenses like Anamorphics.
Idk how this is for your biking stuff? Are there outlier people that don't go for the classics and choose a different trinity instead too?
Not OP here but I love black & white for night time photos. First reason: Color photos are hard to nail at night to color balance especially with multiple light sources of differing white balance. Second reason: ISO noise looks awesome in b&w especially with shallow depth of field

The cause and effect sound intuitive to me (which is not enough to prove a theory ofc) but therefore I assume it to be universal.
Someone in another comment here mentioned nuclear vs kinship families. Which might be an interesting aspect to investigate
