Quick, who is bitcoin's leader? Mind blanks on this question. Quick, who is ethereum's leader? Easy answer. The point is the answerability of the questions.
Yes, with a Tails persistent storage partition. And do not want to plug that usb flash drive into another booted non Tails system. So file transfer to and from needs to happen while booted from Tails.
Thank you for the work you have done! I often use the Tails OS (tails.net). Unfortunately, the included OnionShare has not been kept up to date, making it much less usable.
Maybe someone can check their open source code to see what this is all about. Oh, wait... never mind
What I'm saying is, sorry, Darth, you will not be the last one because I will be there too. So from my point of view, I will happily have all the bitcoin except for what Darth has. Oh wait, might there be another 1 or 2 or 4 or 8 or... But even if it is just Darth and I, I'm good with that.
This is great! Thank you for posting. Cold funds are on bitcoin main chain of course. But for hot funds, current favorite mobile wallets are Phoenix and SideSwap. Also used coinos.io when needed to move between, but look forward to trying this solution!
Help me out please. What is the relevance of an article from 2011 on a news site? But since it's here, another question, is Moxie a shitcoiner?
For one who does not wish to run/manage his own node, do you recommend any iOS lightning app over phoenix?
I had the same experience when paying ~5 euro for a month of mullvad vpn with phoenix. I could see the transaction on mempool.space, but took almost a day to be confirmed. I agree with Darth that phoenix is best used as a lightning wallet. But hope also that businesses that currently only accept on chain (thank you for that though), will soon accept lightning payment too.
This is a well put question/topic. I am curious if anyone knows the ramifications of bitcoin being deemed legal tender in El Salvador when it comes to spending elsewhere. For example, I don't think spending euros in the US is a taxable event.
But, I believe to protect themselves, they set the miner fee because they want it confirmed asap. It can be hefty especially if mempool full. So smaller swap outs may be better handled somewhere else that charges a percentage. But nice to have the on chain payment option (swap out) available. Also swap outs do not reduce channel capacity, so if a fat channel is created, it stays fat ;)
After 300000, channel open fee is 1%. For example, 2020202 sats in should create a 2000000 sat channel.

Unfortunately the option to disable automatic channel creation does not seem to be available in the ios version 🤷♂️
Sorry to hear of the bad experience. Yes, the app should inform the user of what happened and how to recover. That said, Phoenix is my preferred lightning app, and I will continue to recommend it. In my opinion, it is the perfect middle ground between running one's own node and using a custodial solution.
Yes, eth is & will be used as an attack vector on bitcoin, but I accept it as an attack that bitcoin must overcome if it is meant to succeed.
Update: I recently rechecked, and their website is now accessible over Tor. Thank you to whoever fixed this!
Is this drop in rewards occurring throughout the space? If so, does anyone know why? Bitrefill rewards have greatly dropped. I'm interested in https://thebitcoincompany.com/ because they are bitcoin only, but do not want to download another app.
