Funny story. Years ago when I was working in the retail business and I was training to be a manager we had a sales rep that used to come to the store and his name was Richard Cumming. The manager who was training me was a funny guy and he asked the sales rep one day "do you actually go by Richard or do people call you dick" and he replied 'with a name like Richard Cumming, I figured it was best to have Richard on the business card, but some people do call me dick".

What a name! From that day forward we called him Dick.
