I think legacy can send to taproot, but taproot can't send to legacy… Don't quote me on that, though. I can't remember since playing around with sparrow wallet with taproot like a month ago
Yeah, all address are backwards compatible but the wallet needs P2TR to be able to send to taproot address.. I think thats right. Im sure someone will correct me if im wrong.
I think it depends on the wallet, actually. I can't remember what it was but i know there was something to look out for. i can't find the guide i used with sparrow to move stuff to taproot.
