I did. I enjoyed the Nimmo/Soto back to backs. I was a little surprised at the general negativity re Soto. He caught a lot of abuse where I was sitting about lazy fielding.

He isn't winning many hearts and minds with that big contract, mediocre results and perceived lack of effort.

That's for sure. Lindor caught similar criticism when he arrived.

It took a while. He's having a good year so far

He had a great year last year too. I am not sure what happened with him. He had such a great first few years and then seemed to drop off for a few years both with Cleveland and NY and now seems back to his old self the past couple years. Not sure if it was injury related or he made an adjustment because you see great players have down years sometimes but players don't usually come back from multiple sub par years. Full credit to him for doing so.
