Two teams face elimination tonight. Minnesota Timberwolves need a win on the road to stay alive, while the Carolina Hurricanes need a win at home to keep their season going.
Anyone planning to watch?
Bracket challenge comes down to a battle between @Undisciplined @WeAreAllSatoshi and @gnilma. With a Thunder win it comes down to whether it is 5, 6 or 7 games.

I thought I'm too far behind to catch either of them.

You have Thunder in 7 and there are 40 bonus points available in the finals if you get the correct amount of games. You are 35 behind.
reply
You are correct. I'm 30 behind @Undisciplined and 15 behind @WeAreAllSatoshi. So still have a chance.
reply
Wow nice call on Thunder in 5 guys. I had them at 6

I had Thunder in 6 for this round as well. I think only @Undisciplined guessed Thunders in 5 and got the extra points this round.
reply
I think GR also said thunder in 5, though I think he has the Celtics winning so that’s why he’s not in the running
reply
That’s correct

I put some sats on Minnesota to stay alive, but I'll be looking to take profits if I can.
I expect Ant will come out really aggressive and they'll live or die with how that goes.
reply
Maybe I will put some sats on the game. Hoping betplay has the basketball game because it looks like it is on not on TSN tonight. They are showing the memorial cup. Canadians and watching young boys play hockey eh?
reply
They know the greatest Canadian basketballer is playing tonight right?
reply
They still like boys with skates and sticks. Haha

De gustibus non est disputandum

Philadelphia Union vs Toronto FC is also an option if MLS is more your taste.
The Sportsnet channels are showing Hurricanes vs Panthers and the Blue Jays game so Bet Play might be my only option tonight.
Where do you prefer to wager?
reply
Ember and BetPlay for single games, if Predyx doesn't have them.
reply
My god what a performance in 1Q by OKC. 9 points for Minnesota? Yikes
reply
Thunder defense is swarming. Wolves can't handle it.
reply
It's really brutal. I think Minnesota can be better than this.
reply
I think so too. Their mental state was bad. Starting to turn around now
reply
Panthers and Thunder both secure their berths in their respective finals tonight.
I have bet moneyline win for both of them.
reply
I think you will be correct
reply
Carolina up 2-0 at end of 1 o_O
reply
2-2. Panthers score twice within 30 seconds.
reply
Yes. Surprising. They came out very aggressive and Florida missed a bunch of chances on the power play to tie it early. Then the Hurricanes scored again late in the period. Let's see if Florida makes an adjustment in the second. If not, we might have a game 6.
reply
We have one finalist in each sport set. Just have to wait until tomorrow night to see if the Pacers and Oilers join them.
reply
But also, damn, I needed Ant to get 20 for a parlay
reply
I took a ML position on the pacers. I was surprised to see it in plus territory

All in favor of Minnesota being banished to the NCAA say Aye! Just a complete collapse and well give up by a team I have seen in a while.
reply
TWolves had an easy path to the WCF. They beat a Lakers team that did not have any centres / legit bigs in round 1. And they beat a Warriors team without Steph in round 2.
I think they never had a chance against OKC anyways. OKC is just overall a much better team. I think only Nuggets and Clippers legit had a chance to beat OKC in a 7 game series.

Minnesota has packed their bags and clearly already exited the playoffs I just saw the score and that is embarrassing
reply
It's quite bad. OKC is smothering them

I mean OKC is good there is no doubt about that but for the Conference Finals to be this bad is just wild
reply
I agree. This should be more competitive. Denver vs OKC should have been the WCF.

It's a Carushow!
