No doubt. I guess for me it's horse season when the KY Derby ramps up and I start paying attention. Figured I got to just finish the book. It's hard to read for me when I already know the rest of the story. Did learn stuff though. By the way if you like horses, I wrote about the good/bad of it a week or two ago. It's here: #973869

Yeah, I lived in KY for a long time. Never went to The Derby though. Expensive hobby for people that like to look important was mostly my read on it. Interesting about your article with all the horses being in Secretariat's lineage, and I'd tend to agree with you about both horse racing and dog breeding being basically evil at this juncture in time.
