Likewise, I’m shocked at the cost of living in the States! I can get two proper meals (lunch + dinner) for USD$9 here! (Nothing too extravagant ofc) Guess I better appreciate our consumer price index here.

S tier means of higher quality than even A-tier. It's common in gaming and I thought it originated in Japan. Tiers of quality go S, A, B, C, D

Those are all S tier snacks!
I'm surprised 5 singaporean dollars (about 4 USD) can buy that many snacks! I think the same 3 snacks altogether would cost at least $8 or $9 USD here.
