Howdy Cricket lovers,
The race to playoffs has ended early with MI defeating DC pretty comfortably. Batting first MI scored 180 which proved to be a herculean task to the Delhi boys.
As it happened Delhi vs Mumbai
Chasing 180, Delhi lost it in the first 10 overs where they could hardly manage to reach 60 runs at the loss of 5 wickets. Their last hope was Ashutosh Sharma who too fell after a slow show. The wicket had no demons but Mumbai's bowling is a class apart with the experienced trio of Bumrah, Boult and Santaner.
Now our final four teams are:
- Gujarat Titans
- Royal Challengers Bangalore
- Punjab Kings
- Mumbai Indians
Seven more matches still remain before we kick in the playoffs. In these games, all the top 4 teams will try to qualify in the top 2 because the top two teams will face off each other in Qualifier 1, with the winner heading straight to the final.
The third and fourth-placed teams will clash in the Eliminator, with the loser knocked out.
The loser of Qualifier 1 and the winner of the Eliminator will compete in Qualifier 2 for the second spot in the final, where the winners of Qualifiers 1 and 2 will go head-to-head.
I want to give you a spoiler alert for who will win the IPL...
Qualifier 1: GT (No. 1) vs RCB (No. 2)
- Winner RCB (goes straight to the finals)
Eliminator: PBKS (No. 3) vs MI (No. 4)
- Winner: MI (will play the loser of Qualifier 1 in Qualifier 2)
Qualifier 2: GT (Loser of Qualifier 1) vs MI (Winner of Eliminator)
- Winner: MI (Will face RCB in the finals)
The Final: MI vs RCB
- Winner: RCB
Hurrah! My favourite team finally is an IPL champion for the first time in the 18 years of IPL history.
So, don't wait it's still early RCB is only 26% filled with Yes, make it 99% before someone else does it (DYOR applies).
Thank me later.

Request @mega_dreamer to resolve Lucknow and Delhi to NO so that we don't need to look at the losers anymore.
Thanks in anticipation.
