I thought of that too when I saw the post. Now there are two distinct groups with some overlap.
Is it manifesting in noticeable growth in the local bitcoin economy?
Not much, but a little. Off hand, I can think of a cigar manufacturer and a tattoo place, along with my friend's kratom business.
That doesn't do much for our image as black market degenerates, which is fine by me.
