This kind of cognitive sybil attack is one of my most immediate concerns around AI, especially wrt voice and video. I haven't given it much thought though, nor have I seen it discussed much anywhere. It's broadly being put in the category of fake news, but consuming news is optional. There are lots of human activities where consuming information is the job and there aren't human bodies involved in the process.
