Well I know about https://github.com/lightninglabs/aperture and that Lightning Labs uses something like that for their Loop service. I think they even wrote the LSAT standard which is now a bit extended in the form of L402. It is a clever reuse of the existing HTTP 402 status code with lightning micropayments. Then there is for instance FewSats which offer even more payment options (to make it more normie friendly).
