I offered any friends and family that I’d buy their meals today if they tested it out. Had them download Alby Go and sent them over a NWC connection string to paste in. A few took me up on it and said it was super easy to use.

if the payment takes more than 5 seconds, the normies will lose interest; for a demonstration like that, i wud certainly test that the wallet is online and working first; of course, the normies will not appreciate how much fucking hard work went into enabling 5-seconds payment, painstakingly learning and testing for years; i suppose the enslaving party wud say the same about their fiat tools...

NWC is a great way to do that. Been thinking of using in place of some of my LND Hub wallets.

Thought the video is ok...seen worse. Dunno what the burgers and chips are like. But if they open a store in New Zealand will go and try.
