The conservative-majority U.S. Supreme Court heard oral arguments yesterday on lifting an injunction on President Donald Trump's executive order to reverse birthright citizenship in the United States. While the case does not ask whether the executive order itself is unconstitutional or not, it deals in the question if birthright citizenship should be paused or continued until this is decided. The judges, which are reportedly divided on the actual issue, seemed at least cautious and skeptical on the question of an immediate suspension of birthright citizenship in the country. A decision is expected beginning of June at the earliest.

I thought the USA was under a different approach...
I remember hearing about the baby anchor...so, if the baby was born in the USA and the parents where immigrants, the baby wouldn't get the American passport...
