It’s hard to argue against this move when your biggest players are coming out and saying it is an issue. What is funny though is that those two players are now gone lol
After an October loss to Buffalo, quarterback Geno Smith said it felt at times as if the Seahawks were playing a road game because of all the Bills fans at Lumen Field. Packers fans also made their presence heard in a December win over Seattle, with chants of "Go Pack Go" audible from the press box, over the television broadcast and on the field."I know the first quarter, second or third play of the game, it got crazy loud in there, and I looked around and it was a lot of Green Bay fans," wide receiver DK Metcalf said. "So they did a great job traveling. But just wishing the 12s didn't sell as many tickets as they did to make sure we kept the home-field advantage."
Plus given the huge waiting list for Seahawks season tickets it does make sense that you want fans to be able to come who want to be there. If they properly execute their plan those people who want to come would end up saving money.
