I run a Core Lightning node (not LND) named cknosis8lightning.online on a leased Ubuntu server in a data center in NJ. Being an old Unix nerd and not wanting to open up a lot of potential security holes, I prefer to do things using the command line. With the help of Grok, I created a bash script to implement the recommendations from Javier and in this post. Here is the bash script I have tied to a cron job. I would appreciate any feedback.
