@javier Much thanks to this guide's author for helping to improve my fee management. I run a Core Lightning node (not LND) named cknosis8lightning.online on a leased Ubuntu server in a data center in NJ. Being an old Unix nerd and not wanting to open up a lot of potential security holes, I prefer to do things using the command line. With the help of Grok, I created a bash script to implement the recommendations from Javier and in this post. Here is the bash script I have tied to a cron job. I would appreciate any feedback. I am happy to share the script, just send me an email.
You can download the scripts I am using from here: https://github.com/cknosis/bash_core_lightning_scripts Feedback, and comments are much appreciated.

Wow thank you very much for helping CLN users!
Would you please post it in text format and I'll attach as another apendix? Have you checked it works?
Thank you!

I could not get it to look right using text in the reply. I put it up on GitHub: https://github.com/cknosis/bash_core_lightning_scripts/blob/main/adjust_fees_tov3.sh Please let me know if I got any of the logic you suggested wrong or have trouble accessing GitHub.
