'Smart' move to make it only 2 years ( probably was not intentional)..utility companies will be begging to utilize mining to stay competetive ( and probably, ironically, as a way to meet emission reduction mandates) so can just let the sun set on that.

Also smells similar to european threats of banning crypto mining when its such a small industry there. Easy to do that when there there is no legit business to lose ( probably especially true with all miners getting rekd right now).
