The real answer to most reheating is a brief stint in the microwave to heat from the inside out, then put in the toaster oven / oven / air fryer for the last ~5-10 minutes to get the desired final texture. Will taste close to its original state in way less time than oven the full time, and stay warm far longer once out on the table than just microwaving.

That’s a lot of effort for leftovers but kudos for his proof of work.

My buddy refuses to use a microwave for leftovers. He insists it “ruins the flavor,” so he reheats his food in the oven for an hour like it’s a five-star meal. It’s leftovers, dude, not gourmet dinner! It’s like he’s trying to invent a new culinary tradition or something.
